PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND DEPOSIT
- CONTACT PRAIRIE SPRINGS RANCH TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY PRIOR TO ORDER -
I would like to purchase _________ (either ½ or ¼ or 1 whole) beef animal from Prairie Springs Ranch. This is “home-grown”, natural grass-fed beef from our farm. I understand I am welcome to visit the ranch by appointment to see the animals for verification. The butcher will usually occur in late fall.
I agree to contact the meat-cutter with personal instructions within 7 days after butcher; otherwise I agree to receive “standard cuts” of beef. I am responsible for picking up my beef from the locker when it is done, within 5 days of cutting and wrapping unless delivery arrangements are made with the seller. The meat cannot be picked up without final payment being made prior to Prairie Springs Ranch being confirmed with the butcher.
I understand that I am entering into a good-faith agreement for a farm direct purchase between the producer and seller, and that every effort will be made to meet my satisfaction; however I agree to hold the seller harmless of anything other than failing to fulfill the order.
The price of the beef will be $3.79 per pound measured by hanging weight. Standard cut and wrap is included in this price. The animals should weigh approx. 300 pounds per half, +- 50 pounds. You can purchase additional custom procedures on your own, such as pepperoni, gourmet cuts, etc.
An approximate 50% deposit is required to secure the order and schedule the butcher. The deposit required for a quarter beef is $250. The deposit required for a half beef is $500. The deposit for a whole animal is $1000. The balance will be due no later than 7 days after butcher based on actual hanging weight. Butcher date will be late fall. We will keep you informed as the date draws near.
